History

Our Vision: Warrior Group will be recognized as superior provider of innovative and flawless construction services by consistently demonstrating customer care and ethical responsibility.

From the start, Gail Warrior-Lawrence and Vice President of Development, Wayne T. Lawrence, had a vision:  To create high quality, permanent, modular structures for a fast-paced world.  After strategizing about the potential for growth and their ability to be successful, Gail and Wayne began directly delivering solutions to customers in 2001, moving to the current location in DeSoto, TX, in June 2004.

Warrior Group was founded in 1997 by Gail Warrior-Lawrence.  Since then it has become the largest minority- and woman-owned permanent modular construction company in the country.  Gail Warrior-Lawrence is quick to point out that the success of the company is due to the caliber of the people on its staff and the high quality services they provide.

In 2004, Warrior Group was part of the team that built the largest temporary modular building complex, the first time over 300,000 square feet of modular barracks had been built.  In 2006, Warrior Group was a part of the team to build over 1,000,000 square feet of permanent modular barracks at Fort Bliss.  In 2007, Warrior Group was part of the team to build permanent, 2-story, modular barracks at Fort Bliss, also a first.  In 2008, Warrior Group became part of the team that will build the first three-story and four-story modular barracks at Fort Carson and at Fort Sam Houston.

Multiple projects continue to be constructed through 2009. Projects awarded in 2009 include the University of North Texas-Bldg 2, a conventional site-built project, the Veterans Administration clinic buildings in Marion, IL and a project for Kitchen Corps.
